Rolf Eberhard Buch has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Vonovia SE since 2013, transforming the company into Europe's largest residential real estate company. Born on April 2, 1965, in Weidenau near Siegen, Buch brings over three decades of executive leadership experience across diverse industries. Under his strategic leadership, Vonovia has achieved remarkable growth through the successful IPO of Deutsche Annington, its strategic rebranding to Vonovia, and landmark acquisitions including the €9 billion takeover of GAGFAH in 2015, which created Germany's largest residential property group. Buch led Vonovia's entry into Germany's prestigious DAX 30 index in 2015, cementing its position as a blue-chip corporation.
