Lutz Meschke
Biography
Lutz Meschke is Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and Member of the Executive Board responsible for Finance and IT at Porsche AG, where he has served with distinction for over two decades. A Hilden native who completed his baccalaureate in Solingen in 1985, Meschke studied business administration at the University of Cologne before launching a distinguished career in finance and automotive leadership. Since joining Porsche in 2001, Meschke has been instrumental in transforming the company into the world's most profitable automotive manufacturer through strategic financial stewardship, operational excellence, and visionary leadership. Under his guidance, Porsche has achieved unprecedented profitability while pioneering sustainable business practices and digital transformation initiatives. Appointed to the Executive Board in 2009 and elevated to Deputy Chairman in 2015, Meschke has overseen critical corporate milestones including Porsche's successful IPO, the establishment of innovative financing structures, and the integration of cutting-edge IT systems. His leadership philosophy centers on maintaining Porsche's position as the most economically successful car manufacturer through disciplined cost management, strategic innovation, and sustainable growth. Beyond his role at Porsche AG, Meschke serves as a member of the Executive Board of Porsche Automobil Holding SE since July 2020, focusing on investment management.
