Arno Antlitz

Dr. Arno Antlitz serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Volkswagen AG, bringing exceptional strategic leadership to one of the world's largest automotive corporations. Born March 30, 1970, in Premich, Lower Franconia, Germany, Antlitz has established himself as a transformational leader guiding Volkswagen through the industry's critical transition to electric mobility and sustainable operations. With a robust educational foundation in industrial engineering from Technical University Darmstadt and a doctorate in political science from Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU), Antlitz combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen. His career began at McKinsey & Company in 1999, where he spent five years as a strategy consultant specializing in automotive industry optimization, organization development, and cost management, ultimately reaching the position of Associate Principal. Joining Volkswagen in 2004, Antlitz demonstrated exceptional leadership progression, starting with global product controlling responsibilities and advancing to the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management for Controlling and Accounting by 2010. His strategic capabilities were further recognized when he served as Chief Financial Officer of AUDI AG from March 2020 to March 2021, where he successfully managed the premium brand's financial operations during challenging market conditions. Appointed as Group CFO of Volkswagen AG in April 2021, succeeding Frank Witter, Antlitz expanded his influence when he additionally assumed the COO role in September 2022.
